| Planning & PreparationIn consultation with school-day teachers, our teacher’s monitor outstanding and upcoming work for each child. We meet in a circle to review rules and make connections. Diagnostic assessments are used to plan academic, physical and creative interventions. | HW – Study TimeTeachers assess how well prepared your child is for HW, check HW for accuracy, and provide immediate feedback to ensure that HW is fully understood. When HW is complete, we provide additional instruction to help your child get ahead. More information available. | CommunicationOur teachers have frequent communication with your child’s school-day teachers to monitor performance and upcoming academic schedules like tests and major assignments. We provide parent reports on diagnostic results and academic progress. |
| Recreational TimeSpringboard is successful because kids want to attend. Kids need time to relax and an opportunity to get to know the staff and one another. Each day, students spend a portion of their after school day in Activities and in our recreational facility known as “The Den.” At each location The Den is a little different, and may include a climbing wall and nautilus equipment. The Den always has the most popular age-appropriate games guitar hero, Dance Dance Revolution , giant bean bag chairs, air hockey, ping-pong, chess and much, much more.
