Clubs, Enrichment Programs, and Relaxation Time

Unstructured recreation time revolves around a dynamic and unique space we call The Den. Although The Den will be slightly different at each Springboard school, you will always find a very cool and kid-friendly to lounge out and play the latest and popular games that kids love. When students arrive in the afternoon, the gather in The Den to discuss the days schedule, to have a snack and to participate in a Springboard Circle, and get some free time. Students return to The Den two more times during each after school day, to switch between a homework/study block and creative/physical challenge block. After each block is complete, students typically have a third visit and an extended recreation block The Den. Students will receive instruction on the wall, supervision and support on the computers and games, instruction on the rock-wall if there is one in The Den.
