The Problem

As public schools struggle to prepare our children for a global marketplace, our academic performance continues to fall further behind other industrialized nations. Springboard has identified several points where the cycle of learning is breaking down.

Parents are right to be concerned about their children falling further behind their peers in the United States and abroad. Falling behind will add to the all ready intense pressure our kids are under. Feeling overwhelmed with the burden of homework, falling behind and the looming challenges of getting into and performing well in college too often lead to stress among kids and parents.
